So Jaylen had been getting sick frequently and she had started snoring out of no where one night and it wouldnt go away! so i took her in to see her doctor and he said if she kept getting sick and continues with noisy breathing. so i took her back in and he said it looked like she needed her tonsils and adenoids out so he reffered me to and excellent ENT surgeon and we went in with a consult and he said with her being a small two year old it made him nervous to take her tonsils out but he does feel that taking her adenoids out is a good option and less invasive. so the next day she went in to surgery. now let me remind you i was a nervous wreck i knew she was in good hands it just made me so nervous about her being under anesthia. i was a basket case. so they took her and did the surgery and brought her back. she was gone for 45 minutes. LONGEST 45 minutes of my LIFE!! the surgeon came and talked to me and told me her adenoids were HUGE. and he also mentioned that everyone at his office thought she was the cutest patient that came in all day! but anyway. here are some pics of that day. she was down in the dumps for maybe 20 minutes and then she purked right up and ate her sluchy and asked for her ouchie ( the I.V.) out. then we were on our way. she handled everything great. i was very surprised at how well she recovered.!!
